Sweet Lily was such a pleasure to photograph. She’s a great baby and oh, so cute! Lily’s a funny little baby and loves to play peak-a-boo. I think Lily really enjoyed the second half of our session the most though. We went to an amazing purple clover field, where she was so happy to explore so many new sights.

I had the honor of photographing sweet little Whitlee last week as a part of my Jonathan’s Gift project. I fell in love with Whitlee’s contagious wide smile and beautiful blue eyes! What a little sweet heart! Whitlee will be undergoing her first operation on May 8. Please everyone be praying for baby Whitlee and her parents. The coming weeks will be a long and difficult road for this family, full of conflicting emotions and feelings.  Ashlee, your baby girl is so beautiful! It was so great getting to spend time with you and baby Whitlee last week. I can’t wait to see her again!

Lucky

This sweet little girls homecoming from South Korea has been a long time in the making. Finally, lucky little Ryleigh is home with her amazing new family! You may ask why I am calling her lucky. Well, she was born on July 7, 2007. How awesome is that!? To my understanding, the number seven continuously makes its presents known in Ryleigh’s life. Ryleigh’s big brother thinks that they got pretty lucky too. He loves his new baby sister so much! I can’t wait to do their family session this July! Ryleigh is such a sweetheart, and adorable too!

I just love how the light coming in glows so pretty!

Learning to stand.

Little Beauty

This is my third time this year photographing this little beauty. I never grow tired of seeing Sloan’s sweet face! She is always such a treat to work with and this time was no different! Sloan was so into this shoot and loved making up her own poses for me. I have no doubt that this child is going to be a model some day!

The love for baby Harland is so appearent. So beautiful. Bethany, you look amazing! Thanks so much for being so willing to recreate the bubblebath pictures! I am so happy for you guys! Harland is such a gorgeous baby.

Oliver is a very active little boy. Full of energy and personality. So I thought it was only fitting to have his session be bursting with bright, energetic, colors! I had so much fun with Oliver in the city today. This little boy loves to eat blueberries, so that worked out in my favor. We used them as a bribe for Oliver to sit still for more than a split second! ha! Hope you enjoy, mom and dad.

I’ve been so excited to tell you all about something really cool and now I finally get to! Last week, I was contacted by Lora Carr for an interview on my Jonathan’s Gift project. I was so excited when she called me this afternoon to conduct her interview and was even more excited when she called me back to let me know that my story and project to help cleft children was featured on the Project Childhood blog! So please everyone, take a few moments to read my story and feel free to post comments of support here on my blog! I also want to say thank you to the families that are currently participating in Jonathan’s Gift. Thank you for sharing your beautiful babies with the world, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives!

I got to meet a sweet little girl this morning. Baby Sophie is the most laid back 3 month old ever! She’s adorable as can be and I can’t wait to do her 6 month portraits! She has a beautiful room filled with wonderful antique chairs and things that will be perfect to use during her sessions in the coming up year. Kelie, thanks for a wonderful morning. I’m so excited to watch baby Sophie grow over the course of the year. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!
